POWERTECH CORPORATION INC. INC. RETAINS THE INVESTOR RELATIONS SERVICES OF JASMIN FINANCIAL COMMUNICATIONS INC.

Terrebonne (Quebec), April 3, 2008 – PowerTech Corporation Inc. "PowerTech"
(TSX-V : PWB) is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Jasmin Financial Communications Inc. to conceive, implement and monitor a financial communications strategy adapted to its specific needs.

Jasmin Financial Communications Inc. is a specialised investor relations service provider which differs thru a personalised and customised approach specifically fit to the needs and profiles of its customers. The company is managed by Mr. Marc Jasmin, CMA, whom until recently, and for the last six years, acted as director of investor relations of Cascades Inc. (TSX-CAS). This practical experience of investor relations complements Mr Jasmin’s accounting designation as well as his past experiences as institutional, retail broker and financial journalist.

Commenting this announcement, Mr. Carol Murray, President and Chief Executive Officer of PowerTech stated: "We are very pleased to retain the services of Jasmin Financial Communications Inc., which will allow us to benefit from their personalised approach. We are convinced that this agreement will work out being quite beneficial for the company as well as for its shareholders."

In exchange for its professional services, PowerTech will pay a monthly retainer fee of four thousand five hundred dollars ($4 500). The length of the initial contract is twelve (12) months.
