POWERTECH ANNOUNCES A SECOND OEM AGREEMENT WITH A WORLD LEADER IN THE CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY –

This OEM agreement allows PowerTech to gain rapid access to global markets and create worldwide demand for our technology.

Terrebonne (Quebec), February 7, 2008 – Mr. Carol Murray, President and Chief Executive Officer of PowerTech Corporation Inc. “PowerTech” (TSX-V: PWB), is pleased to announce that the Company has signed another major OEM distribution agreement with a world leader in construction equipment design, production and distribution. This new agreement provides PowerTech with access to major markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Considering the high number of excavators in operation in Europe alone, the market for the PicBucket in this region is anticipated to be as great as the market in the United States.

Through this agreement, PowerTech’s unique line of PicBucket and PicHammer products, used primarily for excavation, demolition and compaction applications and will be marketed under a renowned private brand name.

This is the second major OEM agreement for PowerTech. A deal reached one year ago with NPK Construction Equipment (NPK) has allowed PowerTech to quickly establish itself throughout the North American market.
