POWERTECH SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH FINNING (CANADA)

The Company is also in the process of opening a distribution and service centre in Calgary to support its Western Canadian expansion plan

Terrebonne (Quebec), June 21, 2006 – Mr. Carol Murray, President and Chief Executive Officer of Power Tech Corporation Inc. “PowerTech” or the “Company” (TSX-V: PWB), is pleased to announce that PowerTech has signed a distribution agreement with western Canadian Caterpillar dealer, Finning (Canada). This agreement will allow PowerTech to market its products in Western Canada through a major network which Finning operates in the western region of the country. The distribution agreement applies to PowerTech’s complete, current product line, including the PicBucket Series 2000, as well as those products that the Company could develop and commercialize in the future.

“This agreement for the western territory is a key milestone in our Canadian expansion plans. For PowerTech, this alliance with a world class player such as Finning also represents a major vote of confidence for our technology and will provide excellent strategic leverage as we carry out our business plans,” said Mr. Murray.

A complete marketing strategy

The alliance between Finning and PowerTech comprises the deployment of a complete marketing strategy. In particular, this strategy includes the establishment of three major demonstration centres for the PicBucket at Finning’s main branches located in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. Finning’s operator-demonstrators will be on hand to show the tangible benefits offered by the PicBucket. Finning’s technical support team has already finished a training program to become familiar with PowerTech’s technology. In addition to this team, PowerTech can count on the expertise of Finning sales representatives team in Western Canada for the introduction of this new technology.

Furthermore, Finning and PowerTech have undertaken a major joint startup program involving construction contractors in Western Canada. The program’s aim is to raise awareness about the PicBucket’s many advantages. The number of Western Canadian based entrepreneurs specialized in excavation and demolition works (who are therefore likely to be highly interested in the PicBucket) is very high at almost 2,200.

PowerTech establishes its presence in Western Canada

To support its activities in Western Canada and adequately meet the demand for its products and services, PowerTech is in the process of opening a distribution and service centre in Calgary. The Company has also hired Bill Cummins, as Director for the territory. In addition to his solid business development expertise, Mr. Cummins has almost 20 years experience in the sale of heavy machinery and equipment.
